Reflections

Explore the Arts and Express Yourself

The National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life. There are six categories students are able to explore and express themselves in.. Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts.

Congratulations to these four Bobcats for representing Bell Elementary in this year's PTA's Reflections Program!

My Hope and Dream

Nicolas Castro

I am hopeful because I know I can be whatever I want when I grow up. I want to be a scientist to help make this world a better place. With the love, support of my family, friends, teachers and studying really hard, I can be a scientist. I drew a picture of my family and friends with me as a scientist. School will help me become a scientist so I can help the world.

Learning Gives Us Hope

Lilyana  Andrade

I have hope because school helps me learn and grow. I drew a picture of a classroom with students learning to show that our future is bright when we go to school. I am thankful for the way my school has prepared me to reach my dreams when I grow up.

I Am Hopeful

Layla Edgar

My poem is about how some day I might get a dog! I am hopeful because a dog would make me feel happy. I love dogs. They make me feel good on the inside.

I Have Hope

 Daniel Andrade

I have hope because I believe in Jesus. He is my Savior and saved me from my sins. When I play this song it makes me feel like praying to Jesus. I am thankful that Jesus gives me hope.
